In times of need, in times of disaster, communities rely on trained volunteers for help and support. Be that volunteer.
Sand Lake Ambulance, established in 1959, provides Advanced Life Support to the residents of Sand Lake (Averill Park, Taborton and West Sand Lake). Advanced life support is one of the highest levels of pre-hospital care available which our volunteer and professional staff provides 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Sand Lake Ambulance responds to all types of emergency calls, including those of the fire departments as well as calls from our neighboring communities. As our town grows, so does our need for volunteers in all capacities. We offer free driver and EMT education and have opportunities for non-medical support as well. If you are interested in serving your community, please consider joining Sand Lake Ambulance. Contact us at (518) 674-2221
